The Eyes of Orson Welles RECEIVES a special DISTINCTION

The Eyes of Orson Welles received a special distinction in the Golden Eye documentary competition at the Cannes Film Festival.

Following the film's premiere on Wednesday 9 May, Jury members of L’Œil d’Or (Cannes 2018 Documentary Award), including Emmanuel Finkiel, Lolita Chammah, Kim Longinotto, Isabelle Danel and Paul Sturtz noted that:

“Mark Cousins explores the unique universe of Orson Welles through his cinematic images and often unseen drawings. He fervently questions the representation of people and the world. He raises this essential question: how to view the time we are leaving in?”.
