Lots of Kids, A Monkey and a Castle wins the coveted Spotlight Award at this year's Cinema Eye Honors Awards. 

Celebrating the best in non-fiction, filmmaking the ceremony took place New York City following the four-day long Cinema Eye Honors week. 

A charming and rich portrait of eccentric matriarch Julita Salmerón and her family, the film bested five other films to take home the prize. Filled with hilarious and unexpected turns Lots of Kids, A Monkey and a Castle discovers just how Julita got her three childhood wishes: lots of kids, a monkey, and a castle.
