IDA nominations for Dina and City of Ghosts

Dogwoof duo Dina and City of Ghosts have both landed a nomination for Best Picture at this year's IDA awards.

International Documentary Association celebrates the best in non-fiction filmmaking at their annual awards ceremony in the US. The glittering 33rd event will take place in LA later this year.

Dina follows eccentric suburbanite Dina in the run up to her wedding to early morning Walmart greeter Scott. The quirky romcom won the coveted Sundance Grand Jury Prize for Documentary earlier this year.

The critically acclaimed City of Ghosts is the latest film by the Oscar®-nominated director Matthew Heineman (Cartel Land). The real-life international thriller chronicles the exile of Raqqa's citizen journalists as they expose the truth about ISIS in a bid to take back their hometown. The gripping Syria doc took home 2017's Grand Jury Award at Sheffield Doc/Fest.
