Censored Voices wins Ophir Award

We are very happy to confirm Censored Voices has won the Best Documentary category at the 2015 Ophir Awards (the Israeli Oscars).

The Ophir Awards (Hebrew: פרס אופיר‎), also the Israeli Oscars, are film awards awarded by the Israeli Academy of Film and Television to recognize excellence of professionals in the film industry. They are named after actor Shaike Ophir and first given out in 1982.

We are extremely pleased to see film achieving such awards as it opens theatrically in territories world-wide:

UK - Dogwoof - 16th Oct
France - Films Distribution - 20th Oct
USA - Musicbox - 20th Nov
Canada - Blue Ice Docs - End of Nov
Aus/NZ - JIFF - End of Nov

Selected in Berlinale (Panorama Section): One week after the 1967 ‘Six-Day’ war, a group of young kibbutzinks recorded intimate conversations with soldiers returning from the battlefield. Censored Voices reveals these original recordings for the first time.
